This adventure has been years in the making.

Ever since our first baby was born, we’ve dreamed of taking time away from the routine — to slow down, explore the world together, and reconnect with what really matters. Between work, school, and the constant busy-ness of everyday life, it’s easy to get swept up in the “next thing.” We wanted to choose something different.

From the very beginning, we talked about doing a big trip before our little one started kindergarten in August of 2026. It always felt far away — a someday plan — until suddenly, someday became now.

So here we are, finally making it happen. A six-month sabbatical around the world. Just us, our kids, a few suitcases, and an open heart for what’s ahead.

Our goal is simple: to escape the routine, reconnect with each other, and see the world through fresh eyes.

We know we’ll miss our family and friends deeply — but we hope some of you will come visit us along the way. Your love and encouragement mean everything, and we can’t wait to share this journey with you.

This is our chance to pause, to play, to live a little slower and love a little louder.
